Marie Bippert

A Little About Me

My name is Marie Bippert and I teach at Driscoll Elementary in Driscoll, TX.  I grew up in the community of Ricardo and lived there until I moved to Kingsville in 2004.  With a desire to become a teacher like my mother and grandmother, I attended Texas A&M University-Kingsville, where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education in 1995.  I later received an early childhood endorsement in 2003. 

This is my fourteenth year to teach here at Driscoll, so it has become like a second home for me.  I taught 5th & 6th grade science and social studies for one year; 2nd grade for six years; and this is my seventh year to teach kindergarten.  It has been a privilege to work here and watch our students grow and become successful individuals.  The chidren at our school hold a special place in my heart.

Away from school, I enjoy attending my church and helping with the 2nd and 3rd grade Sunday School classes and assisting with our Children's Choir.  I also like spending time with my nieces, one who is eight years old and the other who is eight months old, and my nephew, who is five years old.  Other things I enjoy doing are shopping, eating out, traveling, playing with my dog "Jersey" and my many cats.

My goal as a teacher is for all of my students to love school and to love learning, and to always be "Simply the Best!"
