Welcome to Mrs. Owen's webpage... We are off the a great start and ready for a fun filled year! Our first graders love reading which makes teaching reading much more fun! We are very excited to see the self- motivation for AR. Our kids want to read and test! Its amazing! We are very excited announce that Driscoll ISD's Reading First Program has been awarded a high honor for our scores in Elementary Reading. The growth shown in grades Kinder- 3rd grade were good enough to rank us in the TOP 2% in TEXAS!!! YAHOOO! You can see me dancing- right??? We will be given a grant to large enough to purchase and make many technology upgrades! Please remember to do nightly assignments and return things daily!
